The evening sessions saw the Ladies and the Masters commence their battles for supremacy.
Tournament favourites multiple European Women’s Champion Wendy Jans and Latvia’s top talent Tatjana Vasiljeva got off to a good start whitewashing their opponents. They were joined in the winners’ circle by rising eastern talents Tracevic, Shut and Sirotina.
The Masters group saw a wider diaspora of nationalities score wins, with representatives of Switzerland, Israel, England, Finland, Wales, Malta, Ireland and Scotland vanquishing their foes. Darren Morgan proceeded to claim yet another scalp, hoping to score a back-to-back win in Vilnius.
