The Beautiful VidaMar Resort in the Algarve - European Billiards & Snooker Association

The EBSA President Maxime Cassis and all of the EBSA team are really looking forward to meeting our Portuguese hosts at the magnificent VidaMar Resort in a week’s time and looking at the venue for the 2024 EBSA European Championships, I don’t think anyone will be disappointed.

The facilities are second to none and the climate should be just perfect during the championships. For first timers like myself to this beautiful location it will be a real pleasure, but previous players who return to the VidaMar Resort will know what to expect and I am sure are looking forward to returning to the Algarve.

The charming 5-star VidaMar Resort Algarve occupies a prime location in Algarve, Portugal, with direct access to Salgados Beach. With a wide range of facilities and comfortable accommodation.

Accommodation
Air conditioned, contemporary-styled rooms come with all the amenities you’d expect, including WiFi, a private bathroom, and a safety deposit box. The hotel also places emphasis on inclusivity and offers facilities for guests with disabilities. The room options range from double or twin rooms to suites and family rooms.

Pool and wellness
The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool surrounded by a sun terrace and lined with sun loungers and parasols.

Food and drink
When it comes to food and drink, the hotel offers a buffet-style selection of cuisines for breakfast and dinner. In addition, there’s an à la carte restaurant offering Italian cuisine. As well as the restaurants, there are bars for refreshments.

Outside the hotel
Albufeira is a vibrant resort and one of Portugal’s most sought-after destinations. The spectacular Salgados and Grande Beaches sit within a 3-minute driving distance of the hotel. Albufeira Old Town is located about 18 minutes’ drive from the hotel, where you can explore local churches, which date back to the 1500s, or stroll around the labyrinth of cobbled alleyways that provide a cooling break from the heat. The town itself has an abundance of restaurants, bars, and cafés for you to dive into.
