Tension rises as the Groups take shape
Day three has been all about making sure of a knockout place so far and the cream always comes to the top as they say and that is definitely the case here in Portugal in the Senior event.
As the players book their spots the net is closing in with just two sessions remaining. Players who have qualified this afternoon include Craig Steadman, Jerome Chatet, Alain Vandersteen, Paul Lindsay, Sean Gray, Piotr Murat, Suphi Yalman, Michael Phiblin Gregory Cooke, Mark Tuite, Ryan McQuillian, Jeam Mark Beauchamp, Brendan O’Donoghue, Hans Nirberger, Steve Crowley, Peter Bullen, Stuart Watson, Anthony Healy and Juri Mass.
With 29 places filled just 14 places remain.
In the Ladies singles both the multi winning European Champion Wendy Jans and Anna Prysazhnuka have both qualified for the Last 12 knockout stages.
Tonight both draws in the Knockout Stages in both the Senior and Ladies event will be made on Facebook Live by EBSA General Secretary Simon Smith.
