Sirotina opens with quick victory
In the Ladies Section Daria Sirotina was the first match finished here this morning as she made short work of her Bulgarian opponent Monika Metodieva running out a 3-0 winner with breaks of 31 and 36 in the first two frames.
In the other Group C matches Manon Melief from the Netherland’s defeated Hungary’s Mónika Vantara-Stenócz 3-0 and Germany’s Diana Stateczny also won three frames to nil against her Ukrainian opponent Maria Bucharska.
