Referees approved in flying colours - European Billiards & Snooker Association

Satu Isolehto get this Thursday night at the European Championships her approval as Class 1 referee. The aged 58 Finland’s referee got the approval in flying colours from the examiners, the 2023 European Snoooker Championships Head Referee Poland’s Kazimierz Olejniczak and German’s Ingo Schmidt and Thorsten Müller.

Jor for the couple: Satu now match her husband, Tryggvi Erlingsson, also already a Class 1 referee, besides being a former player who fall in love by Isolehto when she was refereeing one match of him. «I did not pot any ball, wonder why».

Championships Head Referee Poland’s Kazimierz Olejniczak congratules Portugal Miguel Santos, approved as Class 2 referee

Also on this March 16th, the aged 48 Portugal’s referee Miguel Santos was approved as Class 2 referee in his examination, made also by Kazimierz Olejniczak at St. Paul’s Bay Dolmen Hotel, during the 2023 European Snooker Championships underway since March 6th until next Saturday, with the end of Mens’ competition.
