Nechaeva off to winning ways
Last years finalist Anastasia Nechaeva will be hoping to go one further this year and she has got off to a good start winning 3-0 against 13 year old Ukrainian player Aleksandra Serova.
This was the first of the three Ladies matches from Group B in this session to finish with Hannah Jones and Nikoleta Nikolova both picking up wins not long after.
Jones saw off the challenge of Poland’s Weronika Nowicka 3-0 while Nikolova defeated Belarus player Yana Shut 3-1. Shut could have brought it to a decider however after the Bulgarian squandered a couple of chances to close out the match on the black.
