Khmelevsky, Carty and Rees join the ‘Century Club’
A sublime 103 break from Ukraine’s Denys Khmelevskyi allowed him to join the other big stars already at the ‘Century Club´’ of the best of 5 Frames round-robin’s matches in Malta’s event regarding Men’s competition.
Also Welshman Tyler Rees signed a super 101 break and Harvey Chandler doubled his centuries at St. Paul’s Bay, with a 109 and a 104 breaks. Chandler and Ashley Carty are the only ones so far to get 2 three digits breaks: Carty got a 106 plus a 105 this Tuesday March 13th in Malta.
The round-robin matches will end on Wednesday March 10th for 177 competitors at St. Paul’s Bay Dolmen hotel aiming to succeed Estonian Andres Petrov as the next European Snooker Champion.
