Carty and Ruberg safely though
England’s Ashley Carty is now safely through to the Last 32 after a good 4-1 win over young Neil Vincent from France.
Carty had a top run of 66 in the second frame to go 2-0 up and although Vincent took the next Carty ran out a comfortable winner in the next two frames.
Ruberg also had a comfortable victory over Roberto Bartol of Croatia and could now face his fellow compatriot Maor Shalom who is currently 3-2 up on Vladu Mihai.
