109 from Estonia’s Petrov
Andres Petrov produced a superb 109 break during his 3-0 victory over Mathieu Bonnet this morning to leave him on four wins from five in his group finishing second overall behind Ashley Carty on frame difference in Group A.
With all the matches finished in this group we also see Markus Pfistermuller and Spasian Spasov qualifying out of the group in third and fourth place respectively.
In other matches this morning Oliver Lines secured his fifth win of his campaign beating Simon Lindblom 3-0 with break of 57 and 52 in the first two frames. This group has yet to be finalised but Lines looks like he can’t be caught now for top spot with a few players still in contention for the other places.
In Group B Duane Jones was certainly made work hard for the win this morning having to come from 2-1 behind against Benjamin McCabe but took the last two frames comfortably with a break of 51 thrown in.
We also had 3-0 victories for Dylan Craig, Darryl Hill, Peter Kiss, Nykyta Pavelko and Ivailo Pekov while Simon Lichtenberg continued his good form beat Ireland’s Ryan Cronin. Simon now tops the group with four wins just ahead of Cronin and McLaren who also won this morning.
