120 total clearance from Jones - European Billiards & Snooker Association

Duane Jones produced a superb 120 total clearance this evening during his 3-1 win over Maor Shalom and now sits at the top of Group B with three wins. Rather surprisingly for the normally heavy scoring Jones this was his first +50 break of the event but he certainly did it in style with this superb break.

Duane’s fellow countrymen Sam Thomas and Jamie Clarke also continued their fine form as they both racked up their fourth wins after only dropping one frame each so far in the group stages.

Isle of Man’s Daryl Hill continued his fine form with a 3-0 victory over Bulgaria’s Georgi Velichkov while Finland’s Olli-Pekka Virho picked up a great win coming back from 2-1 down against Declan Brennan to take the match 3-2 and leave him top of Group H.

England’s Oliver Lines and Clayton Humphries also remain unbeaten after picking up 3-0 victories tonight with Lines now four for four and Humphries picking up his second win.
