Andreas Ploner Wins Austrian Championships
Andreas Ploner from Innsbruck won the 2013 Austrian Senior Snooker Championships in the 15 Red Snooker Club in Vienna on Saturday and Sunday the 25th & 26th of May.
In the final Andreas beat Paul Schopf from Wells 4 frames to 3 in an exciting final to claim his second National title in a row. Andreas now qualifies to play in the 2013 IBSF World Amateur in Latvia next November.
The Semi final had wins for Andreas over Georg Schlager from Vienna 4 frames to nil and Paul beat Markus Pfistermüller from Wells 4 frames to 2.
The Highest break in the Championship went to Andreas Ploner with a superb 101 in the event.
