Downing fights back to win 4-3
England’s Callum Downing came back from 3-1 behind this evening to beat Germany’s Felix Frede 4-3, knocking in a 58 in the final frame to keep his unbeaten run intact.
The youngster is now tied on three wins with Kacper Filipiak who himself had to fight back from 2-1 down to beat Ukrainian Sergiy Isayenko 4-2.
Also in that group today Romanian Craciun Sorin had a 4-0 victory over Bulgarian Nikolai Vlashev for his first win of the tournament.
