Wales trio at Last 16 Men/Mixed event
2021 EBSA European Snooker Championships Last 16 Men/Mixed event round of matches will start this Monday afternoon at the 2 p.m. session in the 16 tables at Albufeira’s VidaMar Resort Hotel Algarve still with ten countries dreaming to lift the trophy in main event.
U21 European Snooker Champion Dylan Emery joins brothers Darren Morgan and Elfed Evans give Wales the most representative representation in the 16 survivors from the initial 120 at the Men/Mixed event.
Stil another four countries show their power having each one two players in last 16: Belgium (Kevin Hanssen sand Julien Leclercq), Poland (Daniel Holoyda and Pawel Rogoza), England – Oliver Brown and Sean O’Sullivan – and, last but not least, Finland with former 26 years professional Robin Hull and 2020 runner-up Heikki Niva.
Lifting Malta’s flag, Brian Cini still resist in the competition, such as Florian Nussle from Austria, Anton Kazakov (Ukraine), Ivan Kakovskii (Russia) and Raymond Fry (Northern Ireland).
The Men/Mixed event knockout stage of the tournament is to be played best of 7 frames until the semifinals.
The final of the EBSA 2021 European Snooker Championships Men/Mixed event will be played best of 9 frames next Tuesday October 13th at 5. p. m. and it will be refereed by Hungarian Gergo Almasi, assisted by fellow countrywoman Veronika Kovacs.
