68 break for Sirotina
Daria Sirotina won her second match of the group this morning thanks to a 3-0 win over Hungary’s Mónika Vantara-Stenócz. The Russian dominated the match which included a superb break of 68 in the second frame.
We had three matches in Group B this morning and Hannah Jones picked up her second win with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Aleksandra Serova from the Ukraine. Hannah is joined on two wins by last years finalist Anastasia Nechaeva who saw off the challenge of Belorussian Yana Shut 3-1.
The third match in the group saw the host countries Nikoleta Nikolova defeat Poland’s Weronika Nowicka by three frame to one to pick up her second win and keep the pressure on Jones and Nechaeva at the top of the group.
The final match in this session saw Ukraine’s Maria Bucharska record a good 3-0 victory over Netherland’s Manon Melief .
