Ingo Schmidt the Head Assessor at the 2025 European Championships said “We are delighted at the EBSA to assess the Referee’s at all levels be it Class One, Two or Three and help to improve their skills. We want to turn inexperienced Referee’s into good Referee’s, good Referee’s to very good Referee’s and very good Referee’s into excellent Referee’s. Here in Turkiye we are delighted to announce that we have three new Class One Referee’s and all I can say is Mission Accomplished”.
“The newly promoted Class One Referee’s had to get through a full match and then intense questioning of their knowledge of the Rules of the game. The Class One examination takes between one and two hours to complete and we as Assessors and Examiners are very satisfied with all three of the guys and I wish them many years of great Refereeing”.
