Morgan vs. Milne for the Seniors’ title
Darren Morgan (Wales) will face Gary Milne (England) for the title in 2023 European Senior individual Championships in Albena (Bulgaria).
In a rematch of last year’s title decider Morgan once again got better of Wayne Brown (England). The Welsh veteran fired breaks of 82, 62 and 51 while after his 80 in the opening frame Brown was kept mostly quiet. Still the Englishman is the first to win a frame against Morgan in the tournament although the final score of 1:4 brings a little consolation to him.
On the other table Gary Milne and Philip Williams (Wales) went down to the wire. In a seesaw match Milne won 4:1 and will challenge the defending champion later on Friday. Morgan has never lost a Seniors’ final in the history of the event.
