Erik Nagy does the business at the Hungarian National Championships.

Hungarian National Snooker Championship Men/Mixed 2024

The National Championships were held with 51 players during two weekends. This year with Hungarys the record holder champion Zsolt Fenyvesi (10 times) and the first ever Hungarian professional snooker player Bulcsú Révész,
Based on the form ahead of the Championships, the two younger players could be expected to get into the final, but because there were not playing really opened up the Championship.

Nicolas Anton le Clercq played very nice snooker during the stages, his match against former champion Pál Vantara with the deciding frame was a good example how hard he can fight and concentrate.
Erik Nagy almost ran over the his opponents, played outstanding and scored 5 50+ brakes with the highest of 67.

In the final Nicolas was a bit frustrated and could not do his best. In contrast Erik’s concentration and technique was on top made 62 and 66 breaks and almost every long pot attempts were succesfull.
